The oak solid wood flooring in this Putney Property was looking tired and in timely need of restoration. During our initial survey, we did detailed inspection of the wooden floors & discussed with the client all possible choices, followed by detailed quote with our floor sanding & repairs pricing for solid wood flooring.

Our client has decided to go for floor sanding of oak solid wood flooring and finishing the floors in matt Lacquer.

How we completed this oak solid wood flooring restoration...

Solid solid wood flooring floors are durable, long-lasting and therefore, we often find them in condition, which requires more time & care. Our team will re-inspect the floors for movement and in case it requires any repairs, prior to the floor sanding works.

During the solid oak floor renovation, the timber floors are going through a sanding process of levelling with coarser grids, finishing with finer grids, and finally buffing, prior to the application of the sealant & between the coats, for excellent results.

Our works included approx. oak solid wood flooring floor sanding and finishing in matt lacquer. The sealing went down with 1 coat of primer and 2 coats of Bona Mega lacquer.

Overall, this floor sanding project in Putney was completed as planned and to the delight of the client.
